is it safe to visit bangla road at night?

I know that this may seem silly but its the curiosity which is compelling me to pop up this. I've seen the videos of patong on this site and I must it is quite adventurous.

I am planing to go to some night clubs or good pub where i can have a drink and a dance. The question is "has anybody encountered any trouble withoug inviting it.?"

comments or suggestions would be of great help.

Nope, you can feel safe on a night out in Bangla road or Patong. There are many undercover police around. I've been around patong many times and hardly see any problem.

BTW, are you going alone?

I have travelled to Bangla Rd many times and found it to be safe, the tip is not to get too drunk and be friendly to the locals. Try the Dream Bar near Ocean Shopping Centre it is a nice and friendly bar with nice girls.
